Renovation of an educational facility in N Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Replace five existing interior chilled water air handling units with new units of similar capacity including outdoor air and return air filter sections, chilled water cooling coils, supply fans and associated existing return fans with units of similar capacity. Sub Bid Category Electrical The work described herein shall be interpreted as work to be done by the HVAC contractor. Work to be performed by other trades will always be specifically referenced to that trade. Furnish all staging, rigging, temporary support, labor, materials, and perform all operations in connection with the installation of the HVAC work. The Project consists of: Replacement of 5 existing indoor chilled water AHUs, associated inline return fans and chilled water recirc. pumps. All duct-mounted re-heat coils associated with these AHUs shall be replaced with VAV boxes including hot water re-heat coils. All scope area zone temperature sensors are being replaced with new sensors, and densely occupied areas are being provided with new CO2 sensors to allow for demand control ventilation. All AHU and Return fans shall be speed-controlled with modulating VFDs.
