The proposed survey contract requires the provision of field measurements of post free growing managed stands, submission of silviculture survey reports, modelling, and comparison documentation. Sites are located throughout the Cariboo Region including in 100 Mile, Central Cariboo (Williams Lake) and Quesnel Forest Districts. Access may be by 4x4, UTV, walk or fly-in. The locations of each site are shown on the overview map. The bidder should be aware of access constraints and have a plan to address them prior to bidding. Post free growing silviculture surveys will include field measurements in managed stands from 2 years to 22 years post free growing declaration. TIPSY runs and the completion of a comparative spreadsheet will also be required. The term of the contract will be from April 5, 2022, to December 31, 2022. The successful Contractor shall be required to have a pre-work meeting with the Ministry Representative to review the contract prior to commencement of the work. Any subjects discussed and decisions made at the prework conference shall form an integral part of the Contract. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
