Estimated Project Value : $500K to $1M USD UP-1178: Steam Line Replacement w/Alternatives for 11th Street to Davis Hall Indiana University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work included under this project consists of the installation of new medium pressure steam (MPS) and condensate pumped discharge (CPD) pipelines in a concrete trench. The lines replace existing buried MPS and CPD lines adjacent to 11th street between manholes ST10 to ST11 and the existing Steam Tunnel near Ackerman Hall. One alternate pipe replacement work scope is requested. Work shall be accomplished by a Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor and shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction identified on the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the University. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
