The services to be completed as part of this project are located throughout the Village of La Grange Park. The scope of work includes sewer cleaning, television inspection, removal of waste and other necessary work to properly complete this project in accordance with the specifications and bidding documents. All bid proposals offered must be accompanied by a bid bond or a cashier's check or certified check, made payable to the Village of La Grange Park in an amount not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that if the bid proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of the contract properly secured. No bid proposal shall be considered unless accompanied by such bid bond or check. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of La Grange Park for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of bid opening.The Contractor and Subcontractors shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards.The contractor shall be paid in cash for the work to be performed on this project.
