Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in La Grange Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The improvements to be completed as part of this project are located between Newberry Avenue and Kemman Avenue within the public alley just north of 31st Street in the Village of La Grange Park. The scope of work includes installing new 8 watermain, remove and replace disturbed curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, hot-mix asphalt surface removal and patching, and all other appurtenant work thereto. All sealed bids received shall be clearly labeled 31st St Alley Water Main Project - Newberry Ave to Kemman Ave and will be publicly opened and read at that time. All bid proposals offered must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid or a cashiers check or certified check, made payable to the Order of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of LaGrange Park, as a guarantee that if the bid proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of the contract properly secured. No bid proposal shall be considered unless accompanied by such bid bond or check. The Contractor and Subcontractor shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The award of a Contract will be made within forty-five (45) days following the date of the opening of bids. The Village of La Grange Park reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any/all bids.
