The Directing Board of the LaGrange Area Department of Special Education (LADSE), Administrative Offices, 1301 W. COSSITT Avenue LaGrange, IL 60525 will receive sealed bids for: LADSE- Air Handler Unit Replacement Project No. 2021.097 ATTN: JACKIE BOGAN, DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS SERVICES The Work will take place at the LADSE building. The work includes, but is not limited to, the demolition, removal, and replacement of the air handling unit equipment and its associated work. A new concrete slab with frost walls will be required for the new condensing unit that will be installed at grade. Work will be awarded as a single contract. Refer to the Drawings and Project Manual for the full extent of the Work. Certified Check must be made payable to the order of LaGrange Area Department of Special Education. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. It is the policy of LaGrange Area Department of Special Education to provide equal opportunity to all qualified businesses in the awarding of contracts and accordingly promotes the utilization of diversified businesses to the maximum extent feasible in any contract issued against the solicitation to bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, or accept the Bid that, in its opinion, will serve the best interest of LADSE. Any such decision shall be considered final. The Owner reserves the right toset aside a Bid from a Contractor who, in the Owner's opinion, does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project. The bidder shall have a written sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
