The ideal candidate must have a high school education, GED, or equivalent educational preparation with a mathematical background. The successful candidate must have four years' experience in the engineering field and have the ability to use surveying equipment and material and density testing equipment. Certification in aggregate, density, concrete, and bituminous inspection, and certification in DEQ soil erosion & sedimentation control is preferred. Must have good working knowledge of various personal computer business software applications.
