A certified check or Bid Bond payable to or naming as Obligee Dauphin Borough in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid must be submitted with the Bid as a guarantee that in the case the Contract is awarded the successful Bidder will execute the Contract and furnish all Bonds as may be required. The Bid for the Work must be sealed in an envelope and addressed to: Light-Heigel & Associates C/O Keith Heigel 430 East Main Street Palmyra, PA 17078 The Contract is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented, and appropriate minimum wage rates must be paid by the contractor for performance of all necessary work. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. The contractor shall also comply with Act 127 of 2012. Dauphin Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality or bidding irregularities, to delete or reduce any Bid Item, and to award the Contract as may be deemed by Dauphin Borough Council to be in their best interest. No Bidder may withdraw his or her Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof.
