The Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie is seeking Tenders from qualified bidders to supply firm pricing for Selected Granular Materials; specifically, Granular "B", 22.4 mm Granular "A", Sewer Bedding & Cover Material, and 37.5 mm Clear Stone. Firm pricing is required for one year (commencing April 15, 2022) for the supply, loading and weighing of the material at the source, to trucks under the employ of the City, only as required. A second year will be considered at the City's sole discretion. It is the City's intent to issue standing orders to all bidders at their tendered prices and use each as the City sees fit, determined by availability of material and the overall cost of material to each varying job site, as deemed by the City. Due to the COVID pandemic, public opening of tenders is suspended at this time. A brief summary of bids received will be provided to bidders within 3 business days of tender close. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
