Site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Dover, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This work is detailed in the Silver Lake Well Request for Proposal, Bid No.: 22-0033WW. The work is a design-build, including the design and construction of a new well, building, chlorine feed system, fluoridation system, 30-inch ductile iron pipe chlorine contact tank and associated piping, valves, meters, appurtenances, excavation, backfill, testing, startup, erosion & sediment control and site restoration. The work also includes electrical power distribution, lighting, instrumentation and the control system for the site. The City of Dover will set a distribution transformer on the site. The contractor shall be responsible for the secondary cable, terminations and all remaining electrical distribution equipment as required. If you have questions concerning this Request for Proposal, they must be made in writing and emailed to me at doverwhse@dover.de.us. All questions must be submitted no later than May 3, 2022. The City of Dover reserves the right to request corrections, clarifications, and/or additional information pertaining to the proposers response. The City of Dover reserves the right to waive technicalities, to reject any or all submissions, or any portion thereof, to advertise for new proposals, to proceed to do the work otherwise, or to abandon the work, if in the best interest of the City
