The Town of Chatham is accepting bids from qualified companies for the removal and disposal of debris within the road Right-of-Way (ROW) at 32 Mill Hill Road in Chatham, MA. Bids shall include all necessary labor and equipment to complete the work. Inquires relative to the IFB should be directed in writing to Robert Duncanson, Ph.D., Director of Health and Natural Resources, rduncanson@chatham-ma.gov, subject line Debris Removal Mill Hill Road until Friday, February 18, 2022. If applicable, addenda issued during the bidding process will be forwarded to all bidders who have obtained the IFB. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled time for opening bids or authorized postponement thereof. Bids received after the specified time will not be considered and faxed bids will not be accepted. Delivery of bids will be at the expense of the bidder. Any and all damages that may occur due to packaging, shipping, or timely arrival will be the sole responsibility of the bidder. This is a one-time event and bids shall not reference or be used for other properties, municipal of private. All bids received will be taken under consideration for award of contract at a later date. Bidders agree that their bids shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of the bids. The Town may require submission of additional information as it deems necessary or appropriate to evaluate the bids. The Town, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award a contract as decided to be in the best interest of the Town of Chatham.
