The Town of Chatham, through its Town Manager, is seeking proposals from interested parties to conduct the cleanup of a property cited for multiple violations of local environmental and public health regulations as detailed in the Request for Proposals (RFP) documents. Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Division of Occupational Safety under the provisions of MGL c. 149, Sections 26 and 27D, as amended, apply to this work. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 30B, Uniform Procurement Act, and all contracts must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of this Act. The Town has no discretion under the law to consider proposals that fail to comply with those requirements, except for minor informalities as permitted by MGL Chapter 30B. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who received copies of the original request. The Town reserves the right to cancel this RFP or reject in whole or in part any or all proposals, or to make an award in any manner consistent with the law, as serves the best interests of the Town of Chatham.
