Renovation of a residential development in Spencer, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The participation goalsfor this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women. A. The work under the Contract consists of 1. Removal of some interior walls, ceilings, doors, and windows and the reconfiguration of the existing floor plan to create a new office layout and new exterior entry and accessible ramp. All other work shown on the drawings. 2. All Work either shown on the drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. B. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the project site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside of the project site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. C. Additional Selection Criteria: 1. If the Awarding Authority (Owner) cannot verify compliance with the additional selection criteria from the apparent low bidder's Update Statement, the Awarding Authority (Owner) or its Architect may request the bidder provide additional documentation demonstrating compliance with the Contract requirement. This may occur after the general bid opening, but prior to the Contract Award. Question Deadline 08/08/2025 Request for waivers must be sent to EOHLC (david.mcclave@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date. The Project consists of: Interior and exterior modifications to the existingHousing Authority Community Building, containing staff offices and the residents'Community Room. Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the trades listed belowand bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder's Update Statement. SUBTRADES: Section 09.90.00 Painting Section22.00.00 Plumbing Section 23.00.00 Mechanical Section 26.00.00 Electrical General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is notless than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) andmade payable to the Spencer Housing Authority. General bidders must agreeto contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the SupplierDiversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmarkreserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price includingaccepted alternates.
