Sealed bids are sought for structural repairs and roof replacement for the O'Gara Park Grandstand located at O'Gara Park on Valley Street. All bids must conform to the provided specifications and be submitted on the proper forms. Bids are to be entitled "O'Gara Park Grandstand - Structural Repairs and Roof Replacement" and delivered to the Office of the Town Administrator by the specified deadline. All bids shall comply with M.G.L. requirements including Ch. 30, Section 39M (Bid Bond), and minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c. 149, sections 26 to 27H. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all bids, wholly or in part, or accept any bid not necessarily the lowest, to waive inconsequential informalities, and to make awards in the town's best interest. Minority- and woman-owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids. Bids with escalation clauses will be rejected and sales or federal excise tax should not be included.
