The Town of Spencer invites bids for the provision of road materials for the period ending June 30, 2028. Materials included are washed sand, washed round stone size 1 ½", gravel borrow type C, bank gravel, 3” gravel, processed gravel, brown crusher run, and 6” minus trap rock. All materials must conform to Massachusetts Department of Public Works Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges or those of the Town of Spencer. Vendors must submit bids on forms supplied by the Town and price these either F.O.B. source or delivered and stockpiled in Spencer as specified. Bids must be received in sealed envelopes clearly marked "Road Materials." The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities as deemed in the public interest. The Board of Selectmen reserves up to 30 days to award the contract(s).
