Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ashland, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a parking garage; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Each bidder is required to furnish with the proposal, a Bid Guarantee and a Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety and shall be to the credit of the Ashland County Commissioners and the Ohio Department of Transportation. The Instruction to Bidder Form found in the bid documents provides specific instructions with regard to Bid Guarantees and Contract Bonds. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than November 10, 2022. Ashland County may reject any or all of the bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any unsuccessful bidder against Ashland County. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Ashland County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. This project includes all the work necessary to construct Ashland County Bridge #2826-990 and the associated work in accordance with the plans and specifications on file with and to the satisfaction ofthe Ashland County Engineer. All work unless otherwise noted is to be performed in accordance with the 2019 Construction and Materials Specifications of the Ohio Department of Transportation. This project is being paid with local funds.
