Design and Construct (Design Build Delivery) a Youth Archery Range at the Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center Scope and Specifications: Clear field of existing vegetation Design and build pavilion (+or-35ft long, +or-15ft wide) Design and build storage shed (+or-6ft by 6ft) Install archery net via poles and wire system (+or-45ft wide) Build fencing down both sides of range (+or-120ft long each side) Design and construct 6 archery target bases that are sturdy but lightweight enough to be moved by one person out of and into the storage shed easily. Environmental stewardship should be at the forefront of design o Planting of native grasses to mimic natural grasslands in which people hunt o Planting native shrubs/trees along the hedgerow to create a buffer zone of natural habitat o Products sourced from Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified companies Plans and specifications sealed by a professional (in the State of Michigan) will be developed and submitted by the Design Build Team to all authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ's) for approvals prior to start of construction. All required topographical survey's, boundary's and geo-technical reports will be the responsibility of the Design Build Team The Contractor shall submit a bid bond with their bid The Contractor will also be required to provide a payment, performance and two-year maintenance and guarantee bond covering the full contract amount. The Township reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any and all bids in whole or part or to waive any irregularities in any bid that is in the best interest of the Township
