Description

Renovation of a power facility in Sanikiluaq, Nunavut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.

Sanikiluaq community is fed from two feeders with a total power consumption of 880 KW, with a 2027 forecast increase to 975 KW. Feeder #1 is a metal enclosed floor standing single phase step up transformers 3x167KVA. Feeder # 2 is a pole mounted single phase step up transformers 3x167 kVA. As community load increasing both feeders are now underrated and recommended to be replaced with two step up three phase padmount distribution transformers. The Contractor is to provide the Services as per the attached specimen Contract and its attached schedules and bid accordingly.
