The Board of Public Works authorized the bids for this project to be accepted only from contractors currently on the Emergency Pre-Qualified On-Call (PQOC) Geotechnical/Structural Contract Services list adopted by the Board of Public Works on February 25, 2019 and amended on March 13, 2019. This project will construct a new bulkhead to restore lateral support to the existing road. The new bulkhead will be 40 linear feet long and approximately 7 to 10 ft tall and consist of six (6) soldier piles with precast concrete lagging panels and one (1) HSS pile with timber lagging panels. A new asphalt pavement, curb (berm) and metal beam guardrail will be installed. In addition, the new bulkhead will be backfilled with soil, CMB, and a wall subdrain consisting of gravel wrapped in geofabric will be installed. PRE-QUALIFIED LIST OF CONTRACTORS:
