Clarification Deadline: 3/8/2022 4:00 PM This work will conform to all specifications of Publication 408 and will consist of resurfacing of roadways and construction of ADA Compliant Curb Ramps. Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. The successful Bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. A uniform fee of 0.333% ( 1/3 of 1 percent) of the bid amount (up to $5,000) is applied only to bidders who are awarded contracts. No fees apply to bidders who submit without being awarded the contract. All interested parties must submit questions via the web based system, by the posted deadline for questions. Bidders are not permitted to contact the Township Engineer or staff directly. This project is funded by Federal money and is therefore governed by the Davis Bacon Act, Human Relations Commission Regulations and Federal Equal Employment Requirements. The Contract Documents contain all pertinent regulations. The Township reserved the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Township.
