Separate sealed Bids for the Breaks Interstate Park Ben Chafin Lodge Renovations Phase IA for the Break Interstate Park Commission, which consists of the renovations of the following: The Ben Chafin Lodge, Phase IA includes the exterior renovations to the Catawba, Dogwood, Golden Rod, Hemlock, and Redbud Lodges. The renovations include media blasting and repainting of previously painted exposed steel framing, steel stairs, guardrails and railings, and painting of all wood siding, trim, soffits, and each level of balcony ceilings. All interested parties are requested to meet the Architect at Rhododendron Lodge Conference Room at that time. Withdrawal of bids shall be according to procedure (i) of the Virginia Public Procurement Act and to the Code of Virginia ( 2.2-4330). Each Bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia; Bidders are instructed to review the Code of Virginia, Title 54.1, Chapter 11, prior to bidding. The Owner does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia, 2.2-4343.1.
