The City requires a disposal center to dispose of excavation soil from water and sewer repair work on its territory. The earth to be disposed of may contain residues of certain sewer or aqueduct materials, such as pieces of pipe, not exceeding 2% of the quantity contained in the truck. The estimated quantities of soil to be disposed of is 1200 metric tons annually. The City takes care of transporting the contaminated soil of categories A and AB to the disposal site itself.
