The Newport High School project will include a multi-phased modernization and additions to the existing facility. The general scope includes approximately 145,000 SF of addition, 40,000 SF of modernization to existing, and 65,000 SF demolition of existing buildings. The school will remain in operation during construction with defined work areas for construction in each phase, The project will also include site work with parking, fields, and plaza areas as well as street frontage work. Schedule: Start of Construction: on or around June 27, 2022. Substantial Completion: February 21st, 2026, with interim phase completion dates as noted in specifications.
