Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Bellevue, Washington. Completed plans call for the addition of a 145,000-square-foot educational facility; for the renovation of a 40,000-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and for the demolition of a educational facility.
The Newport High School project will include a multi-phased modernization and additions to the existing facility. The general scope includes approximately 145,000 SF of addition, 40,000 SF of modernization to existing, and 65,000 SF demolition of existing buildings. The school will remain in operation during construction with defined work areas for construction in each phase, The project will also include site work with parking, fields, and plaza areas as well as street frontage work. Schedule: Start of Construction: on or around June 27, 2022. Substantial Completion: February 21st, 2026, with interim phase completion dates as noted in specifications. A Bid Deposit. of five percent; (5%) of the amount; of the base bid is required and must either be a. surety bond, post;-al money order, cash, cashiers' check or certified check. All Bid Deposits will be returned upon receipt and acceptance of completed Performance and Payment Bond, Certificate of Insurance, and signed Contract Agreement of the successful bidder. The Board of Directors of Bellevue School District No. 405 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set fir the receiving thereof or before award of Contract:, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days.
