Project cost range is anticipated to be under $900,000.00 Bids for the 2022 Marengo Community Middle School Renovation Project for Marengo-Union Elementary CSD #165, 816 E Grant Hwy, Marengo, IL 60152, will be received at the Office of the Board of Education. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: The renovation includes new ceiling and lighting in the Vestibule, Lobby, Office & 13 Classroom areas and hallways (Approx. 13,330 sq.ft). Demo of existing ceiling & lighting not in this contract (done by Asbestos Contractor). Adding HVAC with VRF Heat pump system & related ductwork, piping & electrical work in Fifteen classrooms. This project includes general construction plus HVAC and electrical work. Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
