**As of March 3, 2023, this project has been awarded to Carmichael Construction with a total a mount of $1,446,860.00 (includes alternate). Project cost range is anticipated to be under $1.7 million Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: The renovation includes existing entry vestibule doors & storefront replaced with new aluminum doors and storefront. Minor renovation w/ new ceiling and lighting in the Vestibule, School Office, (3) classrooms, Cafeteria and Multipurpose room. Replace existing HVAC system in the renovated areas with new VRF Heat pump system, RTUs & related ductwork, piping & electrical work. Project Location: 816 East Grant Hwy, Marengo, IL 60152 This project includes general construction plus HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work. Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. The project consists of demolition and new ACT ceiling and lighting in the Vestibule, Office & 3 Classroom areas and hallways, Cafeteria & Multipurpose Room and related patching work. Adding HVAC work as follows: Demolition of existing roof top HVAC and related ductwork and controls. Provide new variable refrigerant flow system with fan coil units, manifold, condensers, and related refrigerant piping/ductwork. Provide new energy recovery unit and related ductwork. Provide new make-up air rooftop units with dx cooling and gas heating, related ductwork distribution, and gas piping. Exhaust fans and related ductwork. Tie into or expand existing controls system for monitoring and operation of systems.. Adding Electrical work as follows: Power distribution to new HVAC equipment and power requirements relate to Mech work; New flat face LED lighting fixtures in all classrooms and in hallways; Re wiring of existing circuits for new lighting fixtures; Power for renovated vestibule access control devices.
