Site work for a water / sewer project in Clearwater, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As part of an ongoing project to improve park facilities for park users, BC Parks (Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy) is undertaking improvements to the Wells Gary Provincial Park, Clearwater Lake Campground Potable Water System. This is an improvement to the current surface gravity water system. The water system upgrade includes supplying potable water from a new potable water well (existing, drilled 2020). Potable water treatment will be in the newly constructed treatment/generator building (constructed 2021). As there is no electrical grid service to this location, the system will be energized by a new 33KW generator that is being supplied and installed separate to this contract concurrently with the works identified in this Invitation to Tender. Treated water will be pumped to the existing reservoir via a new 2" transmission water line (existing, installed 2021). Treated water will be stored in the existing concrete reservoir. There will be no upgrades downstream of the reservoir at this time. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
