Site work for a municipal facility in Clearwater, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The proposed contract is for 343.14 hectares of mechanical site prep (excavator) throughout the Kamloops Timber Supply Area. It is comprised of approximately 316.29 hectares located within the Kamloops area and approximately 26.85 hectares located within the Clearwater area. The contract may include various site conditions including working in isolated areas. Contract deliverables will be planned for completion throughout the fiscal year to meet the business area requirements. The work for this contract will be a combination of excavator treatments as described in the schedule B1 units of work. Treatments may include: - Mounding in wet or heavy organic areas, - Screefing to remove competing vegetation and root mats, - Piling of heavy slash accumulations to expose plantable mineral soil and plantable spots.
