The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District (NAE) is issuing a set aside for a certified small business contract for the Electrical Service Upgrades and Repairs to Gatehouse at West Hill Dam located in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. The NAICS code for the work described below is 283210 (Size Standard $16.5M). The project is planned to be issued in March 2022 and will be set aside for Small Businesses. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The general scope of this project is to upgrade the existing normal and standby generator power systems to be compliant with NFPA 70 and add a generator power source to other buildings. The core of the work shall be to furnish a generator to serve the standby loads for the three of the buildings onsite (2 garages & one gate tower). A feeder from one building to the others shall serve both the normal and standby loads. An existing normal/stand-by electrical connection from the main office shall be disconnected and removed. Please note that this solicitation is set aside for certified small businesses. This is not a request for proposals at this time; the solicitation requirements and contract documents which will include instructions for submission and the response date will be available on or about March 2022.
