Renovation of a residential development in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Estimated Cost $228,761 for the installation of new bathroom exhaust fans to be wired and exhausted through roof with new exhaust ductwork system and new roof cap. The existing kitchen recirculation hoods shall be re-used. Electrical to power mechanical equipment. Contractor Qualification: DCAAM Certificate The base bid contract scope includes the installation of new bathroom exhaust fans to be wired and exhausted through roof with new exhaust ductwork system and new roof cap. The existing kitchen recirculation hoods shall be re-used. Electrical to power mechanical equipment. ALTERNATE NO. 1: KITCHEN HOODS Scope includes the removal of the existing kitchen hoods and replacing them with new ducted kitchen hoods and new roof caps. New ducted kitchen hoods shall be ducted to the roof and provided with roof cap terminations. Installation shall include cutting, patching, and sealing at the roof penetration and a new roof curb for mounting the roof cap. Installation of new kitchen hoods and exhaust ductwork shall include cutting and patching of the existing ceiling and the construction of a new soffit to conceal the new exhaust ductwork. Patching and painting work shall match the original ceiling. New kitchen hoods shall each be provided with two (2) fire suppression canisters. The electrical wiring shall be disconnected from the existing hoods and reconnected to the new kitchen hoods.
