Site work for a water / sewer project in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Route 122 Water Main Improvements Project. The work consists of installing approximately 65 new water services on the existing 12-inch water main, connecting side streets, and adding valves and hydrants to the 12-inch water main. The existing 6-inch water will be abandoned in place once all the service transfers and associated work is complete. Installation of insertion valves and line stops required to facilitate construction, preceded by field investigations and test shutdowns. Submittal of a MassDOT State Highway Access Permit and corresponding bond, trench rider and insurance certificate are required before construction.
