Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Greer, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
GCRA will receive sealed bids for the Fairview Townhomes site preparation project. Work will include demolition, clearing and grading, and associated site work and utilities for the construction of townhome units. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: The undersigned understands that should he fail to substantially complete Work under this Contract within the time specified hereinbefore, or such later date as may result from an authorized extension of time, he will pay to the Owner, as liquidated damages, the sum of [two hundred and fifty] Dollars ($250.00) for each succeeding calendar day, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays included, that the terms of the Contract remain unfulfilled. The undersigned further agrees that this sum represents a proper measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain per diem by failure of the undersigned to complete the Work by the time stipulated, and that this sum is not to be construed as, in any sense, a penalty
