NC Certified HUB Contractors are encouraged to submit bids for all bidding opportunities at ONWASA. The Bidder shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials, necessary to relocate and replace a total of 18 existing water service taps consisting of 7 long services and 11 short services from ONWASA 's SDR-21 10" water line to ONWASA'S SDR-21 12" water line at the locations indicated in Exhibit 2. There are sixteen (16) 3/4 " taps and two (2) 2" taps. Work will include the installation of eighteen (18) new taps and service lines, seven (7) bores for long services, sixteen (16) 3/4 " corporation stops and two (2) 2" IBBM non-resilient valve and eighteen (18) 12" SS saddles for SDR21. Upon completion of the new water tap and service line, locate existing corporation stop, shut off and connect new service line to existing meter. Restoration of any asphalt, concrete curb/gutter/sidewalk, road shoulder and landscaping (including resodding) at each site shall also be completed. Work shall be performed in accordance with ONWASA's Manual of Standards, Specifications and Details (MSSD) and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Structures Sections 1500, 1510 and 1515; except as modified here-in. Contractor will be responsible for traffic control and scheduling any water outages with ONWASA. ONWASA will not supply any materials needed for the work. As time is of the essence in completing this project, after receiving a written Notice to Proceed from ONWASA all work on the project shall be completed within one hundred and thirty (130) consecutive calendar days. ONWASA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept any bid which, in the opinion of ONWASA, appears to be in its best interest, or to award this contract in part or in total.
