The Town of Sylva is seeking informal bids for mowing of Keener Cemetery, located on Sylvan Heights Drive. The Bidder will be required to maintain the following: 1. Workman's Compensation Insurance 2. Liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 Bids must include pricing for the following list of services to be considered: 1. Mowing and string trimming of cemetery grounds including banks, around head stones, walkways and roads. This will be conducted twice monthly for a total of 18 times (March - November) during the contract period. 2. Trash and debris (tree limbs and storm debris) removal. 3. Removal of all grass clippings from headstones, walkways, and roadways. 4. Leaf removal. To be completed twice monthly from October through the end of November, for a total of 4 times, in cooperation with the Town of Sylva Public Works Department. Leaves will be removed by Town staff after being raked and piled. The term of services for the contract shall be 7/1/2022 and run through 6/30/2023. Contract will renew automatically under the same terms and conditions each subsequent year thereafter unless notice of non-renewal if given by either party.
