The City of Covington is accepting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide the rehabilitation and/or replacement of ruble-stone constructed sanitary sewer manholes. The City of Covington will consider the competency and responsibility of bidders in making the award. City of Covington reserves the right to reject any and all bids/proposals, to waive informalities and technicalities, to reject portions of the bids and to award contracts in a manner consistent with the City and laws governing the State of Georgia. For questions concerning the scope of this RFP, please email all questions to Robert Barber at rbarber@cityofcovington.org The City of Covington, Georgia, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation and/or replacement services as a part of the City's sewer rehabilitation program. The City has embarked on a multi-year effort to reduce inflow and infiltration into the City's sewer collection system, and in an effort to economically and expeditiously implement this portion of the program, the City desires to solicit information and unit pricing from qualified firms for rehabilitation/replacement services and to set forth the terms and conditions whereby the City of Covington may enter into a contract to provide the services described herein. With the assistance of the qualified firm, the City will undertake the specific manhole rehabilitation project identified in the Attachments.
