Site work, new construction and renovation of an educational facility in North Canton, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
These services will be for future new construction and renovation projects. Professional design firms which meet the requirements described in the advertisement must submit standard form F110-330, Statement of Qualification. Firms responding to this request before the closing date will be considered for selection subject to any limitations indicated with respect to size and geographic location of the firm, specialized technical expertise, current work load and/or other performance data. Responses will be evaluated using a standard evaluation form. Three or more firms considered to be the most highly qualified to provide the required services will be selected for interviews. The contract for architectural and engineering services will be negotiated. Selection of an architect/engineer for negotiations shall be based on demonstrated competence and qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the type of professional services required, including any special qualifications required by Stark State College. Future New Construction and Renovation Estimate Cost of Individual Projects: $250,000 to $2,000,000 Source of Funds: To be determined at time of project (any combination of Federal Government, State of Ohio or Local funds Professional Design Services Required: Primary: Architectural Secondary: Mechanical, Electrical and Structural Criteria for selection of Professional Engineering Firm: Related and relevant experience, resource capability, current workload, and geographical location. During the interview, each consultant will be asked to identify a project team, its relevant qualifications, and the team's experience in Ohio Higher Education construction. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
