GT Design & Construction is soliciting competitive sealed bids from Contractors to provide re-roof installation at GT Folk and Caldwell Residence Hall. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to the Owner in an amount equal to not less than five percent of the Bid. Both a performance bond and a payment bond will be required, each in an amount equal to 100 percent of the Contract Sum prior to execution of contract. A. Plumbing: Maintain continuously operational plumbing systems for GT occupancy during reroof. B. HVAC: Maintain continuously operational HVAC systems for the maximum time allowed to complete the work. C. Electrical Power and Lighting: Maintain continuously operational electrical power and lighting for the maximum time allowed to complete the work. D. Fire Suppression Sprinklers: Maintain continuously operational suppression sprinklers for the maximum time allowed to complete the work.. E. Fire Alarm: Maintain continuously operational fire alarm for the maximum time allowed to complete the work. F. Telephone: Maintain continuously operational telephones for the maximum time allowed to complete the work. G. Security System: Maintain continuously operational security system for the maximum time allowed to complete the work. The Owner reserves the right in its sole and complete discretion to waive technicalities and informalities. The Owner further reserves the rights in its sole and complete discretion to reject all bids and any bid that is not responsive or that is over the budget. The Owner anticipates that the contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who provides the lowest bid within the budget.
