Reference number : 1574192 Review Title : Clearing work with a forestry mulcher - Ashuapmushuan Wildlife Reserve Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-03-03 Submission sent electronically accepted: Yes, in a single submission document The Société des establishments de plein air du Québec (the Sépaq) is asking for bids from contractors interested in carrying out forest clearing work with a forest mulcher (the Works) within the boundaries of the Ashuapmushuan wildlife reserve (the Establishment or the Reserve). The Reserve has a network of roads and multipurpose forest paths. This network is illustrated on the map attached as Appendix B. Pruning and brush clearing work is required to keep the roads and paths safe. The machinery required is a hydraulic shovel equipped with a forestry mulcher. Accepted grades for crawler excavators are 1310 to 1315 or equivalent and for wheeled excavators 1340 or equivalent. The areas covered by the Works are described in Schedule C attached. The forestry work requested consists of clearing an average width of 2.5 to 3 m with a forestry mulcher. The Works are spread over several sections of paths. These sections are illustrated on the maps attached as Appendix D. The Works must be completed to the satisfaction of Sépaq no later than September 9, 2022. The Works may start from June 14, 2022.
