The County of Ingham (County) solicits bids from experienced and qualified vendors for the purpose of entering into a contract to provide pavement markings for the 2022 Countywide Waterborne Pavement Marking & Cold Plastic Common Text & Symbol Pavement Marking Program for the Ingham County Road Department. The contract period is for one (1) year with an option to extend for an additional year without a price increase, if both parties agree. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Guarantee shall be in the form of a bid bond executed by an approved surety company, made payable to the County of Ingham. Bid guarantee shall run for a period of not less than ninety (90) days. Any explanation desired by a proposer regarding the meaning or interpretation of this IFB and attachments must be requested to the Ingham County Purchasing Department, attention Bobbie Mayes at bmayes@ingham.org. The deadline for submitting final questions is no later than 3:00 P.M. on March 3, 2022.
In the subject line of the email, reference the packet number #36-22 and Countywide Waterborne Pavement Marking & Cold Plastic Common Text & Symbol Pavement Marking of this IFB. It is the intention of the County to award a Purchase Order to the lowest responsive and most responsible bidder, provided that the bid has been submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the IFB and does not exceed the budgeted funds available. Information and/or factors gathered during interviews, negotiations and any reference checks, in addition to the evaluation criteria stated in the IFB, if any, and any other information or factors deemed relevant by the County, shall be utilized in the final award. Ingham County reserve the right to reject any or all responses to this Invitation for Bids, to waive any informalities or minor irregularities in responses, and/or to negotiate the terms and conditions of all or any part of the responses as determined to be in the County's best interests in its sole discretion.
