The Société is a financially independent non-profit paramunicipal organization, mandatary of the City of Montreal. DESCRIPTION: The Company intends to grant two (2) framework agreements to one or two general contractors able to carry out several restoration works in vacant residential dwellings managed by the Company or its agents. Each of the framework agreements covers a defined sector and will be awarded separately to the lowest compliant Bidder. The same bidder may be retained to carry out the work in the two (2) sectors. The contractor must be able to carry out up to three (3) housing repairs simultaneously per sector, according to the requirements and within the deadlines set out in this tender document. GUARANTEE AND INSURANCE: The bid must be accompanied at least by one (1) bid guarantee in the amount of $20,000. If the Bidder wishes to bid for more than one sector, it must submit an additional bid guarantee, separate from the first guarantee, in the amount of $20,000 each, for each sector tendered. Each bid bond must be valid for 60 days. A certificate of general civil liability insurance in the minimum amount of $2,000,000 will be required when the framework agreement is granted.
