The bids will publicly opened and considered at 4:00 PM (CST) March 9th 2022. The scope and general nature of the work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and performing all work necessary for: A minimum of 60,000 C.Y. of gravel crushing and stockpiling as determined by Stutsman County. Plans and specifications are on file at the office of the Stutsman County Highway Department, 1508 4th St. NW, Jamestown, North Dakota 58401 between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday though Thursday. The successful bidder shall provide a performance bond in the amount of the bid pursuant to Sec. NDCC 48-01.2-10. The successful bidder shall also provide a certificate of liability insurance coverage, a current "North Dakota Workforce Safety & Insurance Certificate of Premium Paid," and a "Contractor's Certificate of North Dakota Income and Sales Tax Clearance." The bidder's envelope shall be clearly marked to identify it as a sealed bid for; Gravel Crushing and Stockpiling. Addenda, if any, shall be acknowledged on the outside of the bidder's envelope and on the bidder's proposal. All bids shall be accompanied by a copy of the contractor's license, in effect at least ten days prior to the date set for receiving bids, in a separate envelope with the bidder's bond in accordance with NDCC 43-07-12. No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to Bond and Licenses, and any deficient bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. All bidders are invited to be present at the public opening of the bids.
