Renovation of a residential development in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Asheville Housing Authority seeks competitive proposals from qualified contractors to replace roofing for multiple buildings at a couple of its developments in the Asheville, NC area. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, cost and other factors. We reserve the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any irregularities, to award a contract for any part of the project or the project as a whole, and/or to select one or more contractors to perform the work. Contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and services to complete all work according to general industry accepted practices. In addition, the Contractor must be in compliance with all Federal, State and local building codes, law, regulations and ordinances. Contractor will also be responsible for all measurements. The work shall consist of removal and replacement of all existing roofing materials, including, but not limited to, the underlayment, drip edge, chimney flashing, shingles, etc. Contractor will be responsible for the disposal of all waste. Roofing shall be replaced at the following developments and buildings: o Pisgah View Apartments located at 1 Granada Street, Asheville, NC 28806 o Buildings 9, 11, 12, 15, 17 o Shingles shall be replaced with three-tab Energy Star shingles in white o Hillcrest Apartments located at 100 Atkinson Street, Asheville, NC 28801 o Buildings 7, 9, 12, 19, 23, 27, 33, 34, 35, 36 o Shingles shall be replaced with architectural style shingles
