PN- 18307, 20.707.0, MAC00495 This project provides for: The work of this project includes minor demolition, abatement, excavation, interior and exterior concrete work, masonry work including insulated cavity walls, steel work including steel stairs, new doors and hardware, gyp bd partitions, painting, and signage. Civil work includes traffic control, airport security, pavement replacement, and roadway signage. Mechanical work includes a new domestic water valve assembly, replacement of valves, completion of a heating water system, a new mini split cooling system, a new Fire Sprinkler valve room, and demolition of piping and equipment, and associated controls automation. Electrical work includes installation of new distribution equipment and demolition of existing distribution equipment and associated connections. Work also includes the demolition of connections serving mechanical equipment being demolished, and installation of connections serving new mechanical and fire protection equipment. Scope of demolition and new work includes power, lighting, fire alarm, security systems, and telecommunications fiber and category cabling. Consistent with Minnesota Statute, Section 473.144, MAC may not accept a bid or proposal for a contract or execute a contract in excess of $100,000 with any business unless said business is in compliance with certain requirements concerning affirmative action plans. Evidence of compliance must be submitted within (1) one MAC business day following opening of bids. Bids will be considered non-responsive if the compliance requirements are not met. Compliance requirements are outlined in the project specification. The goal of the MAC for the utilization of Targeted Group Businesses on this project is 7%.
