Contractor will furnish: labor, equipment, tools and materials necessary for site work and construction of tree trimming. The Contractor shall include in its bid and provide labor, tools, equipment, and materials for a complete and working project in conformance with the intent shown on the drawings and specified herein and as provided for and set forth in said plans, special provisions, and any addendum that may be issued prior to the date of bid, or in either of them, which said plans and special provisions are hereby referred to by such reference, incorporated herein, and made a part of this Contract. Liquidated Damages: $1,000.00 Per Calendar Day Bid Bond Percentage: 10% Engineers Estimated Cost: $312,500 to $312,500 Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required License Type Required: D-49 Said proposal shall be accompanied by cash, a cashier's check, a certified check or bidder's bond of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted, to be made payable to the County of Santa Cruz. Bidder's bonds shall be issued by a corporate surety duly admitted and authorized to issue bonds and undertakings by the State of California. It is the County's intention to issue the "Notice to Proceed" such that the first working day will be approximately April 11, 2022. An exact start date for the project will be determined by the Engineer in coordination with the Contractor after the project has been awarded. Work shall continue until project completion or as directed by the Engineer but shall not extend beyond two years after notice to proceed. The entire work of the project shall be corrected and repaired by the Contractor, for a period of one (1) year from the date of acceptance of the work. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
