A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Mobile is soliciting qualifications from planning, engineering, and design firms to provide engineering design services related to the Brookley By The Bay project. This project will be implemented by the City of Mobile. The purpose of this project is to design a public access waterfront park, capturing the natural beauty and wonder of Mobile Bay while ensuring the preservation of our natural wetlands. Bordering Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley, this park will be an integral part of continued growth within the City of Mobile by providing waterfront access and recreational opportunity to locals while showcasing the beautiful natural resources of Mobile Bay. Project area consists of 194 acres of waterfront property that stretches along 2.32 miles of shoreline Q&A will be on 3/17 @ 10:30 am. Questions concerning this Request for Qualifications should be directed to Lance Slater at lance.slater@cityofmobile.org. Responses will be received until 3:00pm CST on 04/05/2022. 06/13/2022 Target date for notice to proceed The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
