Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mena, Arkansas. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
A bidder's bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, in the form of a certified check or corporate bid bond, shall accompany any and all bids. The City of Mena reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive all formalities, and to award the bid deemed most advantageous to the City. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof without written consent of owner.Prices given shall be good for ninety (90) consecutive days from the date of the signed contract. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of the surfacing and resurfacing of existing streets in the City of Mena, Arkansas, including surface preparations, leveling, tack or prime coat, and asphaltic concrete hot mix surface course. Included is the furnishing of all equipment, tools, supplies, and the performance of all necessary labor required to construct the work.
