The Work to be performed includes two contracts. Contract No. 1 includes approximately 14,330 square yards of cold in-place recycling, 2,290 square yards of select base repair, 3,350 tons of Superpave leveling course, 7,300 tons of Superpave wearing course, inlet repairs, pavement marking and other related work on various Township streets. Bidders are advised that PA Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry must be paid to all workers involved with Contract No. 1. Contract No. 2 includes 26,380 square yards of bituminous surface treatment, 2,200 SY of fog seal and 69,300 square yards of ultra-thin bonded wearing course on various township roads. PA Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates are not applicable to Contract No. 2. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security equaling ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal. Proposals shall be effective for forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of opening, and the Work must be substantially completed within ninety (90) calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Township requires that contractors accept payment through the MasterCard procurement card (p-card). The OWNER reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof.
