Construction of a nutrient-reduction wetland in Boone County. In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, steel sheet pile weir construction, tile installation, CMP water control structure, and seeding. This project includes around 17,700 cubic yards of earthwork, 1,680 square feet of steel sheet pile, 135 linear feet of tile installation, 1,150 tons of riprap, 240 cubic yards of grout, and 26.5 acres of seeding. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $300,000 to $350,000. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor. Bidders who attend and sign-in to the pre-bid conference will be added to the plan holders list. Printed copies of specifications and plans will be provided to the successful bidder. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
