The extended aeration stainless steel package sewage treatment plant manufactured by Fluence Corporation was purchased and installed in 2017. The plant did not work for Borough purposes. The plant and all equipment therein is being offered "as is - where is" in its current configuration and condition and there are no warranties expressed or implied. The treatment plant is approximately 44 feet long, 12 feet wide and 11 feet tall with an empty weight of approximately 30,000 pounds. It consists of a 26,000-gallon aeration chamber, a 4,300-gallon gravity hopper bottom clarifier, a 2,500 gallon aerated sludge holding chamber, a 540 gallon chlorine contact chamber. Other miscellaneous items include: two blower units rated for 135 SCFM at 5 psig complete with 5 HP motor and fiberglass enclosure, coarse bubble air diffusers, one main control panel with starters, time clock and HOA switches, grating and handrails. Successful bidders are fully responsible to remove or disassemble all items as necessary and must remove their property no later than 5 p.m., on May 27, 2022. All bids must be made using the Bid Form supplied by Snydertown and must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price The bid will be awarded, perhaps to multiple bidders, in the manner netting Snydertown the most proceeds. For example, if two bidders want separate parts and those sums exceed the amount offered for the entire plant, Snydertown will accept multiple bids. Snydertown Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive bidding irregularities.
