Renovation of a water / sewer project in Ozark, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project includes the construction of a potable water disinfection chemical feed system at the existing Ozark Water Treatment Plant located in Ozark, Arkansas. The disinfection chemical being used is liquid sodium hypochlorite. Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 17-25-101 and related statutes. The City of Ozark, Arkansas, reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Bid opening date. The City of Ozark, Arkansas, encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, and construction, as either a general contractor or subcontractor. Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda duly issued in accordance with the requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Information regarding the number of Addenda that have been duly issued can be obtained from Hawkins-Weir Engineers. Bidders shall include their Arkansas license number on the outside of their sealed bids. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened.
